When you purchase something from the shop in person and you display your Alumni Card, you will receive a 15% discount from the grand total of the receipt. There is a wide selection of souvenirs with university labels and the university crest.

The three cultural groups of the Eötvös Art Ensemble - the Béla Bartók University Choir, the University Chamber Orchestra and the Folk Dance Ensemble have been regularly providing discounts on ticket prices for years.

BEAC (Budapest University Athletic Club)
With the Alumni Card, you can take part in BEAC trainings at a discounted price. Various sports facilities are available at different locations in the city.

The ELTE Confucius Institute was opened in 2006 in partnership with the Beijing Foreign Studies University and with the support of the Chinese Language Education Council (HANBAN). The Institute offers a 50% discount on the price of Chinese language courses to Alumni Card holders.

ELTE Business of Economics (GTI) Summer University
ELTE Alumni members can take part in the Business of Economics' Summer University with a discount.
EXTERNAL DISCOUNTS
The Hungarian Radio Art Groups provides a discount for ELTE Graduates with the Alumni Card. You can stay up to date with the discounts from our news.
The Hungarian National Theater offers a 40% discount for its own performances to ELTE Graduates with the Alumni Card. Tickets can be reserved at the e-mail address andrea.bossak@nemzetiszinhaz.hu, please indicate the ELTE Alumni Card. Tickets can be picked up at the ticket office from Andrea Bossák at Andrássy út 28. Reservations are valid for 5-7 days.
There is a 10% discount with the Alumni card on current performances at the National Dance Theatre, and extra discounts are available for certain performances every month. Tickets with a discount can be booked at tickets@tancszinhaz.hu; please indicate ELTE ALUMNI in the subject line. Tickets can be collected in person at the National Dance Theatre Sales Group (1122 Budapest, Városmajor utca 13. 3rd floor) and in the Allee Shopping Center by appointment.
Imagine (former ImagineBudapest)
Imagine offers a 10% discount to ELTE Graduates from their walks, vouchers and souvenirs if 'ALUMNI_IMAGINE' coupon code is indicated in the field provided when purchasing on their website. The Alumni Card must be presented at the walk. Folow the news of the university to stay up to date with their current offers!
LEGO BrickPark offers a 20% discount on the price of a full-price ticket at a box office purchase.
The Royal Palace of Gödőllő provides a 10% discount on the full-price ticket for our members displaying their Alumni Card in case of a box office purchase.
Indoor treasure hunt and outdoor scavenger hunt games now with 25% Alumni Card discount! For the first time in Hungary: a scavenger hunt mobile application with an AR function, with creative and ready-made games. The games can be played outside with keeping a safe distance from others.
One of the leading big bands in Hungary has also joined the group of partners offering a discount to the holders of the ELTE Alumni Card. Concerto Budapest provides a permanent 20% discount for cardholders: ELTE graduates, employees and the relatives of cardholders visiting their concerts, and 50% in individual cases. The discount is valid for Concerto Budapest's self-organized events (except for MANÓ concerts).
Discounted tickets can be required as follows:
- to be purchased in cash and received at the Concerto Budapest Music House (1094 Budapest, Páva u. 10-12) at a pre-arranged time, upon presentation of a valid ELTE Alumni card.
- via online, sending the date of the selected concert and the seat requirements to be purchased to the following e-mail address: jegy@concertobudapest.hu. In this case, it is necessary to attach the ELTE Alumni Card proving the eligibility. Concerto Budapest will send the link of the discounted ticket back to the given e-mail address, the customer can open the link to buy it online, with a credit card, within 2 days of sending it.
By presenting an ELTE Alumni Card, 4 tickets for one event can be purchased at a discount. The right of the person using the ticket to the discount can be checked by the ticket collectors at the venue of the performance!
Our new partner offers various discounts for the following programmes:
- Szent István-terem: 50% discount on adult full price ticket and combined adult ticket (valid until cancelled)
- Várkert Bazár: 30% discount on some programmes, check our posts for the latest monthly offers
- Budai Várséták: 20% discount on every walk
The discounts can be claimed online by entering the coupon code, which will be published in the current issue of ELTE Alumni News. When using the discounted ticket, eligibility can be checked on the spot, so please take your Alumni Card with you.
Írók Boltja provides 10% discount on the price of its books and magazines to ELTE Graduates upon presentation of the Alumni Card.
ELTE Graduates with an Alumni Card can visit the current performances of the Katona József Theatre with a 20-30% discount. Discounted tickets can be purchased ONLINE on the website katona.jegymester.hu by entering the current coupon code (see Coupon codes).The coupon code field can be found after placing the tickets in the basket by clicking on the "YOU HAVE A COUPON CODE?" button. In the case of personal ticket purchases and e-mail orders a reference to the ELTE Alumni Card is needed and the picture of the card must be attached.
Tudatosan jó
Registered ELTE Graduates receive a 10% discount on the prices of products available in the Tudatosan jó webshop. The discount can be validated ONLINE by entering a coupon code (see Coupon codes). The coupon code field appears on the checkout page after adding the selected product(s) to the basket. The coupon code cannot be used together with other coupons or to purchase a gift voucher.
