ELTE Alumni Council is the managing body of ELTE Alumni. The president of the Council is the Rector of Eötvös Loránd University. In addition to the President and the members of the Alumni Board, the Council consists of nine additional members nominated by the Rector and the Chancellor of the University. The current representatives are: Éva Márkus, Andrea Perlusz, Ferenc Hudecz, Barna Mezey, László Zentai, Vilmos Bárdosi, János Babos, Csilla Pataky, Tamás Cseszregi.

Rector, Head of Eötvös Loránd University. He is responsible for ensuring that the institution operates properly and lawfully and that students and lecturers are able to operate under appropriate conditions. Only a university professor with appropriate management and management skills may be elected Rector. The Rector is elected by the Senate, the mandate is for four years, and it can be extended once, for another four years.The chair of the ELTE Alumni Foundation was taken over from its predecessor on 20 January 2018.
