On June 5, 2025, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), in collaboration with the Consulate General of Hungary in Munich, successfully hosted a special evening event titled "Focusing on Artificial Intelligence & ELTE Alumni Get Together." The event brought together former ELTE students from Hungary, Germany, and beyond for a night of reconnection, learning, and celebration.

Held as a relaxed Sommerfest at the Consulate's elegant aula and backyard, the gathering combined academic insight with vibrant community spirit. Alumni had the opportunity to catch up with old friends, build new professional networks, and engage with the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence.

A highlight of the evening was the presence of Prof. Dr. Lénárd Darázs, ELTE’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs, who personally represented the university. His participation underscored ELTE’s commitment to staying connected with its international alumni and advancing dialogue on innovation.

The event was conducted in German and warmly welcomed ELTE graduates from all disciplines and academic programs—Hungarian, international, and German alike.

The Vice-Rector’s presence, combined with engaging lectures and a lively alumni atmosphere, made the evening not only a celebration of community but also a strong reaffirmation of ELTE’s leadership in academic excellence and innovation.
