Alumni students of ELTE PPK Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education organized an online conference in Hungarian and English. Not being able to meet in person was an unusual situation, but it provided the opportunity for many participants who would not have been able to come to the conference. The online conference format enabled many former, current and future students from all over the world, including Korea, Turkey and Germany, to participate.

During the two days, the participants discussed professional questions and challenges, and had inspirational conversations. The sections of the conference provided an insight into a social, psychological and pedagogical topic. In the framework of two workshops participants could get to know the MICEP project of the Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education, which has provided real useful tools for intercultural project planning and implementation. During the lectures, workshops, and moderated discussions of the ÚtOn conference, participants addressed the concepts of acceptance, diversity, participatory education, art, the relationship between majority and minority, the role of the media, and many other topics that can be studied in the master's program of Social Integration at ELTE PPK.

The organizers would like to thank the support of the Eötvös Loránd University Alumni Center, without which the event could not have taken place.

The conference in numbers:

  • 4 Zoom chat rooms
  • 14 presenters
  • 2 workshops
  • 1 giveaway
  • 4100 Facebook event reach
  • 72 registrations
  • 14 hours
