The 1st Hungarian-Kyrgyz Symposium of Rectors hosted by Eötvös Loránd University was attended by the leaders of twenty-three universities from Kyrgyzstan. At the meeting, ELTE signed a general inter-institutional agreement together with ten Kyrgyz higher education institutions about exchange programmes, joint research activities, and technical assistance, among other things.
