ELTE Alumni postcard - photo contest

We invite recent graduates* and all alumni** of ELTE to participate in our online photo contest and share their summer photos from as many places as possible. 

To participate in the "ELTE Alumni Postcard" photo contest, we invite participants to submit their photos from the summer taken anywhere in the world. The conditions of participation are simple, and you can increase your chances of winning easily - see below.

How can you participate in the game? In one (two) simple steps! Step 1: If you have already registered on alumni.elte.hu, you can leave this step out. If not, you can do so here. Step 2: Send your photo taken this summer to almamater@alumni.elte.hu! In the subject field, write "ELTE Alumni postcard photo contest". In the main text, please write your name, graduation details (faculty, year), and where and when the picture was taken. Deadline: 15 October 2022 23:59 Three participants will receive a gift pack!

Detailed conditions of participation:

• In addition to submitting a maximum of 3 photos from the summer (taken between 1 June 2022 and 30 September 2022), the applicant must provide his/her name, graduation details (faculty, year), place and date of taking the photo.
• The applicant gives his/her consent to the ELTE Alumni Centre to publish the photos on alumni.elte.hu, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages***, together with the applicant's data, and to use them in their marketing materials. 
• Only those who have successfully registered on alumni.elte.hu before the deadline will be entered in the draw.
• Employees and family members of the ELTE Alumni Centre are not eligible to participate in the draw.

Increase your chances of winning!

You can double your chances of winning – that’s one more time that your name will be in the virtual hat - if you do one of the following, or quadruple your chances if you do all of the following:

• include the ELTE Alumni badge emblem**** on the pictures that you submit,
• after registration, you join the Alumni Chapter of the faculty where you’ve graduated from,
• you (the participant) are in the submitted picture.

The opportunity to increase your chances of winning can be applied once per participant. A participant’s name can therefore be in the virtual hat a maximum of four times - regardless of whether he/she has submitted 1, 2 or 3 photos.

Winners - prizes:

Three lucky winners will be drawn from those who submitted their photos by the deadline to win a valuable prize. The winners will be notified by the ELTE Alumni Centre through the email address they provided at registration by 31 October 2022. The winners will have 15 days to claim their prize. After 15 days a new winner will be announced. The first three winners will be able to contact the ELTE Alumni Centre to arrange how they will collect their prize.

***Privacy notice! Under the pictures uploaded to the photo album on our Facebook page, we will only include the initials of the participants, their graduation details (faculty, year) and the place (city or country) and year of the photo.
