Abel Prize 2021 awarded to László Lovász, Professor of Mathematics at ELTE


This year's Abel Prize (often called as the Nobel Prize for Mathematics) has been awarded to László Lovász, Professor Emeritus at ELTE and Avi Wigderson (Institute for Advanced Study) for their foundational contributions to theoretical computer science and discrete mathematics, and their leading role in shaping them into central fields of modern mathematics.
