Dr. Elemér KELEMEN: 150 years of the „Budai Képző”

The recently launched jubilee book represents the respect, resistance and reformation of the history of our institution. With the educational reform of Eötvös József, this institution has had a prominent role in state primary education and despite many difficulties throughout the years, it still stands beside its own values and duties.
As reading the book shows, the institution follows the need of the ever changing society while still keeping its unique character with traditions, have open mind to international relationships and last, but not least, its sensibility for arts.
On behalf of our current staff and students, we say thank you to those who made it possible for this place to became as successful as it is today. We also say thank you to those who has taken part in our practical education, and for those who helped to enhance our reputation further.
