New international degree programmes in chemistry and law launched at ELTE
You said, we listened. We have received many inquiries about degree programmes in chemistry and law; therefore, we are now introducing two new programmes in English for international students to meet this growing interest.
CHEMISTRY BSC
The new Chemistry BSc provides a comprehensive introduction to modern chemistry through a combination of theoretical coursework and extensive laboratory training. Students develop fundamental competencies in analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry under the guidance of respected researchers. The programme prepares graduates for advanced studies or careers in the chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and materials‑science sectors.
LAW, POLITICS AND ECONOMICS MA
This interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Law brings together international law, political science, and global economics to offer students a broad, integrated understanding of today’s complex policy challenges. The programme is ideal for those interested in careers in international organisations, diplomacy, public administration, policy research, or related fields. Through a combination of academic standards and practical perspectives, students develop a strong analytical framework applicable to diverse professional pathways.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE MSC – NEWLY OFFERED AS AN INDEPENDENT PROGRAMME
The Artificial Intelligence MSc, previously available only as a specialization, is now a stand‑alone English‑taught master’s degree. It offers a focused curriculum covering the core areas of modern artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. The four‑semester (120 ECTS) programme maintains a strong practical orientation, supported by industry collaborations and a mandatory professional internship.
