Call for Submissions from ELTE International Alumni Members

Do you have a favourite festive song from your country you would like to share with other members of ELTE International Alumni Chapter? We are eager to listen to your choices!

You as members of ELTE International Alumni Chapter come from various corners of the Earth. The place where you live certainly preserves ancient and important holidays to this day. Here in Hungary, one of our most important holiday, Christmas is getting closer, and with it one can hear the traditional and modern melodies more and more often.

On this occasion, we, the ELTE International Alumni Chapter would like to invite you to gather the most famous or important festive songs from your country or religion to compile a joint international playlist. Since the number of holidays and music is almost endless, we ask you to think carefully about your choice. Your chosen song might be modern or traditional, cosy or lofty – the point is to get as colourful a playlist as possible.

Please send us your songs including your country, region and/or town of origin to iro@elte.hu. Make sure to write in the subject line of your email: “Festive Songs Around the World. Alumni Edition”.

Deadline: 12 December 2022.

There will be a giveaway for the most fortunate music senders selected by lucky draw.
