ELTE was represented at the event by 27 athletes, with our students winning two gold, four silver and two bronze medals in two martial arts.At the European University Games held in Debrecen and Miskolc between 10 and 24 July, almost 5,000 competitors from 400 universities and 40 countries competed in 17 sports. 700 athletes from 22 higher education institutions from Hungary took part in the Games, making it the largest Hungarian delegation in the history of the competition.
