Presentation of ELTE Alumni at International Conference

On behalf of Eövös Loránd University, Csilla Pataky, Head of Alumni Relations and Development gave a presentation at CASE CEAC 2023 International Conference on the developments and methods of ELTE Alumni in the UK.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) is the global nonprofit association dedicated to educational advancement professionals—in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing, and advancement services. CASE Europe Annual Conference (CEAC) is the biggest conference of alumni professionals within Europe. It provides a platform for sharing best methods and trends that proved to be effective tools of alumni advancement. Besides it is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with leaders and colleagues of great many universities.
The lectures, seminars, and round table discussions cover all aspects of alumni activities, such as the external and internal development of alumni relations, the organization of programs, effective communication, marketing, unique and annual fundraising activities, successful campaigns - as well as the most appropriate strategies according to the level of advancement.
The conference - attended by 800-1000 people - is recognized by leading universities as a place for sharing knowledge, experience. Apart form key presentations events take place in 6-8 auditoriums parallel. Breaks offer opportunity for conversations with those working in similar fields, also service providers.

On behalf of ELTE, Csilla Pataky Head of Alumni Relations and Development first gave a presentation in 2021 at CASE CEAC about the first 5 years of ELTE’s trailblazing advancement under title "Strength Based No Costs Approach: Speedstart by Highlighting Portfolio of Values" due to the pandemic situation online.

Now at CASE CEAC 2023 UK she presented the method for developing relationship between stakeholders within the university under title "Creating Synergies Across the University to Effectively Engage Alumni - by involving academic departments, faculties, chapters' leaders and students - for a Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" in Edinburgh. Including questions her session took an hour.
