Elte Faculty of Informatics wins to participate in niche (IFROS) Erasmus+ Mundus joint master

Led by the University of Girona, the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University with the University of Zagreb has won nearly HUF 3,000,000 in grants to organize a joint Erasmus + Mundus masters program in intelligent field robotics called IFRoS: Intelligent Field Robotic Systems.

The students in the program will complete the first academic year at the University of Girona, where the focus is on the basics of robotics; students then can join the third semester at one of the partner institutions, the Faculty of Informatics of Eötvös Loránd University or the University of Zagreb;

during the fourth-semester internship, dissertation is completed. At the end of the joint master's program after successful completion of 120 ECTS credits - in 2 years - graduates will receive a double degree master's from at least two universities.

In the planning phase of the master's program, already before the submission of the application, the industrial actors were given a significant role, several companies are already involved. Currently, the consortium is preparing the conditions for operation, giving a practical example: preparation of students' application surface, as students may apply for the joint master's program from the next academic year 2021/2022.
